Stormwater runoff is currently the largest source of pollution in our waterways, and with climate change bringing heavier rain events, rainfall levels are expected to increase during the winter. Meanwhile our summers are expected to become drier. Thankfully, there are useful techniques and strategies to manage the rainwater that falls on your property. Join staff from WICD and Snohomish Conservation District to learn about capturing and storing roof runoff, building rain gardens, and how to minimize polluted runoff from your yard.
