We will draw on Spiritually-based pathways through grief, denial, anger, acceptance and more as we face life on a warming Earth.
These will include multiple spiritual traditions from around the earth, including such practices as lament, mindfulness, resignation, hope, coming-to-terms, and balanced action.
We invite Participants to add their own experiences with the spiritual tools and life practices that work for them.
Participants will receive annotated lists of in-print and online resources, and we will build a list of eco-grief resources we have or want to see created locally.
Led by Jeanie McElwain, PhD in Transpersonal Psychology, grief counselor and beach naturalist, and by participants and guests of Whidbey’s Greening Congregations Collaborative.
