Learn about the work of the Pacific Rim Institute and their special place – a Living Laboratory on Central Whidbey Island. Dr. Robert K. Pelant will cover PRI’s ecological restoration throughout the Puget Sound region, including propagation of rare and threatened species at their Native Plant Center. Pelant will share PRI’s mission as a learning organization centered on volunteers to evolve best practices for all of us to use in caring for our earth.
