USL’s Vocalize Our Future Youth-Led Protest

March 24, 2023 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Free
United Student Leaders is a youth-led organization that advocates for environmental justice and social equity. Our newest campaign, Project Vocalize Our Future, is beginning to take shape. Over the next few months, we are going to be holding a series of protests all around Island County to demand that a Climate Emergency Declaration be declared, and that the county take immediate and bold climate action. We have pulled together a strong base of community members on the South end of Whidbey Island, and we would like to build the same level of connections throughout the whole of Island County. These protests will take place in Coupeville, Oak Harbor, and Camano Island.
As we’re coming up on our first Vocalize Our Future protest, we have an important update to give. Due to scheduling conflicts, we have moved the date of the Coupeville Vocalize Our Future protest to next Friday, March 24th at 4PM. The protest will be held in the same location, in front of the Island County Commissioners Hall (17th St NW # 214, Coupeville, WA 98239). We hope to see you there, showing up for our future. Thank you for understanding our change of date, and we apologize for any inconvenience it may cause.
