Whidbey Waters — Whidbey Shores —a joint photo show by seven Sound Water Steward volunteers, portrays the beauty and biological richness of the beaches of Whidbey Island.
Created as a prequel to Earth and Ocean Month, this exhibit hopes to evoke the wonders, both from afar and up close, of our beach’s unique and rich environments.
Stunning panoramas by Rich Yukubouski, beach scenes by Bonnie Netzel, and enhanced photos by Colleen Skinner anchor the exhibit while other photos highlight the complexity and beauty of colorful and richly-formed beach creatures.
Accompanying the exhibit are guides to the animals, plants and seaweeds for those who want to know species and scientific names and a full list of contributing photographers.
