DESCRIPTION:Limited to 20-25 attendees\, RSVP is required. Contact Celia Metz at greennewsfromcelia@gmail.com or 858-740-1346 to register. \nFortunate attendees will walk with a Whidbey Camano Land Trust host around Keystone Preserve which is currently undergoing restoration and is not yet open to the public! \nThe group will see ecological restoration-in-progress\, including: \n\nRemoval of invasive blackberry and other aggressive non-native plants\nProgress on shoreline bulkhead to restore natural bluff and coastal processes\nProgress on blufftop restoration of native prairie\, oak savannah\, and stream corridor\nWhidbey’s Organic Farm School activities to prepare agricultural portions of the property for the upcoming season.\n\nDistance: 2-3 miles\, mostly level\, with uneven walking terrain and a gradual slope down to the sandy beach. No dogs allowed on this walk.
